Data Integrity—Understanding & Applying Auditing, Locking, Sealing & More
Record integrity is one of the most important aspects of your system. At any point when a record is called to review, the standard question of ‘any access, additions or deletions to the record’ will need to be substantiated. In this session, we’ll explore how Perspective handles auditing at the record level, user level, database level and more. You’ll also see why locking and sealing can be very important features for ensuring your record integrity.
Presenter: Dale Yushchyshyn, CPP, Director of Implementation
Incident vs. Investigation vs. Case—What’s the Difference?
Perspective provides your team with the ability to move from an incident, to an investigation, to a case—but what’s the difference in how these components track data and interact and what’s the difference between linking incidents and forming a case? We’ll explore each element in-depth, and we’ll show you how they work together in your incident, investigation and case management program.

Investigation Management Practices
Directors and managers are responsible for supervising subordinates and their ongoing daily routine, as well as for managing the results of investigations and cases. If you don’t have specific practices and proven processes in place, your investigation and case management process can be hard to administer. This session demonstrates the tools Perspective has to assist you in performing this important function, and we’ll work through illustrative examples to help you understand the tools and how they work.
