Data Integrity—Understanding & Applying Auditing, Locking, Sealing & More

Record integrity is one of the most important aspects of your system. At any point when a record is called to review, the standard question of ‘any access, additions or deletions to the record’ will need to be substantiated. In this session, we’ll explore how Perspective handles auditing at the record level, user level, database level and more. You’ll also see why locking and sealing can be very important features for ensuring your record integrity.

Presenter: Dale Yushchyshyn, CPP, Director of Implementation

Incident vs. Investigation vs. Case—What’s the Difference?

Perspective provides your team with the ability to move from an incident, to an investigation, to a case—but what’s the difference in how these components track data and interact and what’s the difference between linking incidents and forming a case? We’ll explore each element in-depth, and we’ll show you how they work together in your incident, investigation and case management program.

Presenter: Brian McIlravey, CPP, Co-CEO, Strategy & Alliances

Partner Showcase

Discover what our partners are working on and what opportunities are available to you! This is a new session for our 2010 Users’ Conference, and we are excited to have a number of new partners join us!  IDV Solutions will introduce attendees to their Visual Fusion software—a platform that allows users to explore new opportunities, reveal hidden value and share original discoveries. QlikTech will, once again, demonstrate the flexibility of their QlikView software, the power behind our Perspective Focal Point add-on.  And Infoglide Software Corporation will introduce their Identity Resolution Engine which helps expose risk and fraudulent interactions.

(Back by Popular Demand for 2010!) Creating an In-House Training Program

One of the most effective means of maintaining a successful Incident Reporting and Investigation Management system is to conduct ongoing user training. In this valuable session-back by popular demand from last year's attendees-Dale Yushchyshyn, Director of Implementation Services, will lead you through the fundamentals of creating an in-house training program for Perspective and outline the tools that PPM has available to help clients with this process.

Investigation Management Practices

Directors and managers are responsible for supervising subordinates and their ongoing daily routine, as well as for managing the results of investigations and cases. If you don’t have specific practices and proven processes in place, your investigation and case management process can be hard to administer. This session demonstrates the tools Perspective has to assist you in performing this important function, and we’ll work through illustrative examples to help you understand the tools and how they work.

Consolidating Multiple Divisions and Teams into Perspective

Within Perspective, we provide a number of options for separate teams or groups to use the same system—whether the teams are from different geographic locations or different departments within your organization. This session will walk you through key components that need to be addressed when multiple teams use the same system, including how to build consensus, and how to use workgroups, security and languages to benefit your teams.
