“IT'S JUST SO COOL!”

Over 950 exhibitors and 23,000 people descended on Atlanta, GA for the 2008 ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits. This was PPM 2000's twentieth visit to the trade show, and it was perhaps our busiest. A cross-section of PPM's security experts, including Sales Executives, Consultants, our Customer Service Manager and our Product Manager, were on hand to assist a constant stream of visitors at our booth. They worked extremely hard, demonstrating our breakthrough Incident Reporting & Investigation Management software—Perspective—to hundreds of people during the show. We were especially pleased to see the number of people that came to our booth as a destination visit, both existing and new prospects alike. After twenty years in the software business, it's clear to us that Incident Reporting & Investigation Management software has become a must-have item in a security professional's arsenal, especially in mid-size and large companies. ASIS is a once-a-year opportunity for us to meet the many clients and prospects that we speak with (and email) on a regular basis. We really enjoy having the chance to show you the latest developments in Perspective, to talk with you about what we have planned for the future and to learn about the enhancements that you would like to see made. ASIS is always about new opportunities, but it's also about seeing the many clients and partners who have supported us over the years. During ASIS, we also met with several companies with complementary technologies about future partnering opportunities. The ability for us to communicate and integrate with these other security systems (e.g., access control) is a key initiative for us, and our meetings certainly advanced these projects.
