Wow, what a show! We had a fabulous three days in Orlando… meeting with clients, connecting with partners and showcasing the value of Incident Management software.
Our planning for the ASIS show began months before the actual event. This year, three words guided our efforts: innovation; technology; and teamwork.
INNOVATION. On the innovation front, while we constantly enhance Perspective, ASIS gives us a hard deadline for showcasing the evolution of our product line.
This year, our Product Management and Dev groups worked around the clock to complete Perspective 3.0 (complete with activity tracking and a new dashboard), build a new DispatchLog (designed… and priced… for corporate security) and introduce Perspective Mobile (including native apps for BlackBerries, iPhones and iPads and a web app that can be used on any device).

As much as we go into the ASIS Annual Seminar & Exhibits ready to present our latest innovations, the show also gives us the opportunity to find out what needs to come next. What’s everyone asking about? What’s the buzz on the floor? Throughout the three day event, we spent a lot of time talking about integration and interoperability. We collaborated with many of our partners who were at the show—including Microsoft Global Security and Brivo Systems—and we engaged in a number of discussions around cloud-based computing and our SaaS option. With a number of exciting offers to promote and some significant advancements to our product line (both at the show and in development), we had an amazing week in Dallas, and we came home with invaluable feedback that will help us prioritize our development projects to ensure that we continue to address your top Incident Reporting and Investigation Management concerns.
