About the Job
The Technical Support Analyst position combines technical ability with strong customer service. Our Technical Support Analysts respond to incoming technical support inquiries related to PPM products.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responds to incoming customer support questions or issues by troubleshooting each situation and always providing the customer with the best possible solution.
- Ensures the utmost courtesy, professionalism and politeness in both written and verbal customer contacts.
- Assists customers with installations and custom configurations.
- Receives, assesses and prepares data from customers for conversion from older software versions.
- Documents all customer contact for future reference.
- Enhances and develops quality support processes, including communication standards and support documentation.
- Maintains current knowledge of PPM’s software line and a current understanding of the technical environments in which the software is being installed and used.
- Participates in constantly enhancing the quality and efficiency of PPM’s Technical Support Desk.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Technical Qualifications
- A related post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of SQL 2005 and SQL 2008 (SQL Scripting knowledge an asset).
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2008.
- Knowledge of Web Services and Network Administration.
- .Net Exposure (C#, ASP.NET).
Customer Service & General Qualifications
- Effective Verbal & Written Communications are a must.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Outlook.
- Team player, with a positive can-do attitude and solid work ethic.
- Aptitude for problem solving and accomplishing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to learn and share information with others.
