About the Job
PPM 2000 is a growing company, seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester. To join our team you must be able to show your experience working within a testing environment, and also work with other team members, including Software developers to deliver a higher quality product.
Responsibilities
- Performing QA testing of software product components.
- Using Visual Basic, and C# to complete testing.
- Writing and executing test cases. Complete documentation and resolution of defects.
- Creating, maintaining and executing C# programs, SQL and scripts for Automation/Load testing.
Experience & Education
- BSc degree or diploma in a computer-related field.
- Basic knowledge in computer related testing.
- Possesses troubleshooting, communications, and documentation skills.
- Able to effectively handle multiple, concurrent assignments and activities.
- Able to self-motivate and adjust priorities as necessary.
- Hands-on experience with products on Windows operating systems.
Assets
- Self-motivated with an exceptional amount of creativity, as well as productive energy.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with multiple teams in a cross-functional environment.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of or experience with SQL databases setup/backup and configuration.
