About the Job

PPM 2000 is a growing company, seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester. To join our team you must be able to show your experience working within a testing environment, and also work with other team members, including Software developers to deliver a higher quality product.

Responsibilities

• Performing QA testing of software product components.
• Using Visual Basic, and C# to complete testing.
• Writing and executing test cases. Complete documentation and resolution of defects.
• Creating, maintaining and executing C# programs, SQL and scripts for Automation/Load testing.

Experience & Education

• BSc degree or diploma in a computer-related field.
• Basic knowledge in computer related testing.
• Possesses troubleshooting, communications, and documentation skills.
  
• Able to effectively handle multiple, concurrent assignments and activities.
• Able to self-motivate and adjust priorities as necessary.
• Hands-on experience with products on Windows operating systems.

Assets

• Self-motivated with an exceptional amount of creativity, as well as productive energy.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with multiple teams in a cross-functional environment.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of or experience with SQL databases setup/backup and configuration.
