About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Developer to join our exciting and innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing design and development leadership in delivering mobile solutions across any of the various platforms including the iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry and Android. The candidate will help establish and drive our mobile framework, and deployment methodology.

Responsibilities
  • Develop on PPM 2000’s mobile application.
  • Drive best practices, standards and guidelines on mobile technology across PPM 2000.
  • Transform ideas, high-level business requirements, strategies, market trends, development standards and best practices into innovative mobile solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and cross-functional team members as needed.
  • Quickly prototype and iterate on ideas.
Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information/Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of overall programming work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mobile application development with solid programming abilities in one or more of the following: Java/J2ME, Objective C/Cocoa framework, BlackBerry API, Android SDK.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of implementing enterprise-wide high profile projects.
  • Minimum 2 years of strong development experience with UI design, MS SQL Database and web technologies.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, and knowledge of, XML, with experience using SOAP or REST web services.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with mobile application architecture, .NET frameworks, development methodologies and UI Design.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a software design engineer through all phases of the software development lifecycles.
Assets
  • Master’s degree in Information/Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Domain knowledge or experience on leading mobile platforms.
  • Professionally demonstrate exposure to the latest mobile and web technologies, while having a strong understanding of design principles.
  • Capable of translating complex functional/business requirements into simple and cutting-edge mobile applications.
  • Ability to clearly articulate creative ideas to senior management.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and eagerness to collaborate with other creative minds.
  • Strong desire for exploring, evaluating and understanding new technologies.
  • Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent judgment, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: verbal, written and listening.
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive.
  • Agile development experience.
  • Demonstrated customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoints.
