About the Job

Reporting to the Director of Implementation Services, the Application Trainer will be responsible for providing comprehensive training sessions on all PPM Incident Management products to both clients and employees and managing the PPM Online training program. Delivery of training will primarily encompass Online training programs and courses. You will also contribute to the development of new courses, training curriculum and lesson plans.

Responsibilities

The key roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Delivery of product training of all products to clients via web based
    e-learning.
  • Delivery of product training of all products to new and existing employee’s as required.
  • Delivery of training of Online Courses via E-Learning (internet) and providing assistance in the development of the E-Learning/Online program.
  • Assistance in maintaining and developing formal curriculums and courses for PPM product training.
  • Assistance in maintaining and developing lesson plans for training.
  • Assess learning and development needs; identify performance gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in the development of client specific User Guides.
  • Communication and interaction with Director of Implementation Services to assist in the successful completion and delivery of training and educational projects and services as assigned on a day to day basis.
  • Client Survey Administration/Creation.
  • Various Administrative tasks.
Experience & Education

The following indicates specific industry, academic and functional experience/qualifications that are preferred for the successful candidate:

  • Post Secondary degree or diploma (preference to security or investigation).
  • Ability to apply creative instructional techniques in a software training environment.
  • Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning.
  • Experience and knowledge with software and IT skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and excellent business acumen.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Highly organized and process oriented.
  • Previous proven and confident public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Experience in the security or investigation industry is an asset.
Compensation

The Application Trainer position salary will be commensurate with responsibilities, experience, required credentials and current average within similar fields. The salary for the position is to be negotiated.  Benefits are included.
